$75,000 in reimbursement has been awarded to a client of a former Chillicothe lawyer who stole from them while handling their business affiars.
Rebecca Bobb pleaded guilty to deception to obtain dangerous drugs and the theft of over $273,000 from estates she was handling for three clients. Her law license was suspended in 2010.
Another client received a similar award in 2011.
Bobb is currently on probation after serving 10 months in prison on her felony convictions. She blamed the thefts on her former addiction to prescription painkillers
The client-reimbursement program, which is funded by registration fees paid by lawyers.
