Waverly Village Council

Waverly Village Council met Tuesday night to discuss roads, recycling, and to swear in a new Councilman. There is sediment built up between the car wash and State Route 104 that needs to be hauled away in multiple truckloads. Also, Council received a letter from the Heritage Museum Board with concerns about new paving outside their building causing flooding.

There was brief discussion about a potential recycling program spearheaded by Rumpke Waste Removal. Mayor Greg Kempton says the community feels "it's the right thing to do".

New Councilman Scott Dailey was sworn in replacing former Councilman, Brett Bevens.  Council Chairman Thomas Patterson commented that he "knew it was really quick, but they had to get that seat filled as soon as possible"...
