Chillicothe’s Summer Finley and Reeanna Houser had their state title hopes dashed Saturday. The two Cavaliers reached the Sweet 16 individual spots with their District finishes last weekend. Playing at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl, Finley finished 18th with a 565 series and Houser posted a 455 series for 70th.
Wapakoneta won the Boys D-I Championship. Teays Valley, vying for the Boys’ team title, placed 6th in the State and had three bowlers place in the Top 30 individually. Matthew Bryant had the top TV score with a 604 series to place 21st. Nicholas Evans tied for 22nd with a 591 series. Clinton Stamper and Brandon Shephard finished 28th and 29th respectively with scores of 577 and 576.
